Higher Calling Farm is a Christian owned and operated family business. This means that we are a family who believes that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We believe that all that we have is from Him and we are called to a higher standard of caring for and using all of our blessings (our marriage, children, farm, finances, time etc.) to further His kingdom rather than as personal indulgences. We attempt to make this the primary motivation in everything that we do. We moved to the farm to get the children out of the city and into an environment where we felt that we could best teach them the values we wanted them to have. We also wanted to return to a simpler way of living. Through home schooling and working together with our children on our many projects (inside projects and ones out on the farm) we are attempting to instill biblical values and also to develop workers for the Kingdom of God. Our mission at Higher Calling Farm is to serve others. If we can do that through sharing great tasting, healthy, meat products, through items that are lovingly hand-crafted, or even if it is through showing the wonders of our Creator with a visit to our farm to see some of His cool animal creations, that is what we want to do! Higher Calling Farm, it's not about us! |
