| You'll be surprised...
We began raising chickens to be able to meet our own families' need for meat and eggs. We quickly learned that this was not always cheaper than just buying the same products from the store. We researched how most commercial beef, pork and poultry is raised so cheaply and found that it is through large confinement operations (lots of animals in small buildings). These operations are typically sustained by medications to compensate for the poor environmental conditions of the animals. Our research also revealed that the meat quality and nutrition were sacrificed in these conditions. Take a look around our site to see how we do things a little differently! |

Winter 2008
Thank you to all of our customers who ordered poultry in 2008 and prior years! We have taken an indefinite break from poultry production to seek God's wisdom and direction for our farm. Check back as we update our site throughout the year.
